Frederic Stutzman is the Founder and CEO of Freedom, an application that allows users to strategically block access to internet distractions in the pursuit of increasing productivity and digital well-being.

In addition to founding Freedom, Fred earned his Ph.D. in informations sciences and was a researcher and faculty member at both the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Carnegie Melon University.

Fred has been studying the intersection of humans and technology for most of his adult life. We talk with him about what he's observed from the development of network technologies over the last decade.
